Patrice brings over forty years of experience in the wholesale, retail and school food industry to the school nutrition table. She is semi-retired and serves as a Peer Educator for Montana Team Nutrition. During her tenure as Hardin’s School Nutrition Director she established breakfast in the classroom, free meals for all students, backpack and pantry programs, house-made meals, healthy nutrition initiatives and has a passion for produce. Patrice is the Website Chair for the Montana School Nutrition Association and has assisted Montana Team Nutrition, Montana Partnership to End Childhood Hunger (MT-PECH) and OPI in several capacities. She is passionate about serving Native communities, improving student food access and cultivating nutritious, affordable, and appealing meals. Patrice is a certified School Nutrition Specialist (SNS) and holds degrees in Communications, English Writing and Psychology from Rocky Mountain College in Billings. Patrice is eager to lend her expertise to school nutrition directors and managers throughout Montana. She lives in Billings, has six children, nine grandchildren and enjoys EVERYTHING outdoors!
